Rancangan Gadis Melayu musim pertama yang diadakan di TV9 yang lepas menyaksikan Khairul Noormaidah Zali atau Aida telah dinobatkan sebagai juara. Kini bermulalah pencarian Gadis Melayu untuk Musim ke-2. Hari Jumaat baru-baru ini telah diadakan sesi pengenalan 12 peserta Gadis Melayu musim kedua di Hotel Istana, Kuala Lumpur. Kami cukup kagum dengan pemilihan kali ini, cun-cun belaka. Tetapi itu hanya luaran semata-mata, bagaimana pula dengan sikap dan perangai mereka? Adakah betul-betul menepati ciri-ciri Gadis Melayu yang dicari?

Mereka yang terpilih untuk pencarian Gadis Melayu Musim Ke-2 ini ialah Raja Nur Juliana (Kuala Lumpur), Norfarizan Mohamad(Banting, Selangor), Shazfinaz Hashim (Shah Alam, Selangor), Hafiza Bustanul Ariffin (Kuala Lumpur), Hazlin Hussain (Kajang, Selangor) dan Sharifah Jasmine Soraya Syed A. Jalil Jamalullail (Shah Alam, Selangor).

Lain-lain peserta termasuk Nadiah Adrianna Mohd. Akbal (Subang Jaya,Selangor), Putri Noor Nawal Haji Ramlan (Shah Alam, Selangor), Rahimah Ibrohim (Kuala Lumpur), Robeaha Ramza (Kota Bharu, Kelantan), Sri Sharinnie Rizal (Damansara, Selangor) dan Siti Nur Syafiqa Amirol Melvin (Parit Buntar, Perak).

Dalam 12 peserta yang terpilih itu, salah seorang daripada mereka menarik perhatian kami di MyTalento kerana sikapnya yang agak hipokrit. Itu menurut email yang kami terima dari peminat MyTalento. Peserta yang dimaksudkan adalah Sharifah Jasmine Soraya yang berasal dari Shah Alam.
